A voucher is proof of payment and grants the right to use a specified studio service provided by Udruženje grnčara Bardak (the Bardak Potters' Association). “Studio keramike Bardak” is a brand name, not a separate legal entity.
A voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, except where this Policy, the Terms of Sale and Complaints, or applicable law provide otherwise. It is valid for the service stated on the voucher and contains a unique code, issue date, validity period, and a QR code linking to this Policy.
The purchaser and voucher holder must become familiar with this Policy before using the voucher. Before registering and activating the voucher, the holder must also become familiar with the description of the educational programme they will attend.
After payment has been recorded and the information required for issuing the voucher has been provided, the voucher will be sent by email in PDF format within 24 hours.
Voucher types and validity periods
Vouchers for the Standard Course, Mini Course, Independent Studio Use, Individual Session, and Single Session are valid for 90 days from purchase. The voucher must be activated and use of the service started within that period.
A One-Day Workshop voucher is valid for one of the next three sessions of the relevant workshop, as stated on the voucher. It must be activated at least five days before the selected session stated on the voucher. The Association provides the sessions needed to use issued vouchers. Additional sessions may be offered, but the Association is not obliged to provide them; their availability depends on the Studio's current capacity and they may be offered only until the final date stated on the voucher.
Vouchers for Additional Workshops are valid for 90 days from purchase, and the workshop must be booked within that period.
After the initial period has expired, the voucher may be extended for an additional 90 days, subject to the surcharge in the current price list for the relevant voucher type. For One-Day and Additional Workshop vouchers, the surcharge for a One-Day Workshop voucher per person applies, in accordance with the current price list. The additional period runs from the voucher's expiry date, or, for a One-Day Workshop voucher, from the last of the three sessions stated on the voucher. After the additional period expires, the voucher permanently ceases to be valid and cannot be extended again..
Activation, use, and transferability
Voucher activation means a confirmed reservation for a specific service. For workshops, individual sessions, and single sessions, this means reserving a specific session; for courses and Independent Studio Use, it means reserving the initial session or cycle.
After a voucher for the Standard Course, Mini Course, or Independent Studio Use has been activated, the Session Attendance Policy applies to the use of sessions, skips, make-up sessions, and freezes.
A voucher may be transferred to another person before activation, provided that the Association is notified in advance so that the holder's name can be changed.
A voucher is issued for a specified service but may, before activation, be exchanged for another service of the same or higher price. For a higher-priced service, the holder must pay the difference before use begins. A voucher cannot be exchanged for a lower-priced service.
The voucher holder must present the voucher in digital or printed form upon arrival.
Postponement and cancellation
A change to the reserved initial session may be made without a surcharge if announced at least three days before the session.
If a change is requested after that deadline but no later than three hours before the session begins, or no later than one hour before a morning session beginning at 10.00, it may be made subject to a surcharge equal to the surcharge for extending an expired voucher of the relevant type, in accordance with the current price list.
After that deadline, changes are not possible and the reserved session is deemed used.
If the Association postpones or cancels an activated service because of force majeure, unforeseen circumstances, or another reason preventing the service from being held, the holder will be offered a new session. If the service cannot be held, the payment for the unused voucher will be refunded to the purchaser who made the payment.
Right of withdrawal and complaints
The right to withdraw from a contract, the refund procedure, and the submission of complaints are exercised in accordance with the Terms of Sale and Complaints and applicable law.
If the purchaser expressly requests that the provision of the service begin during the withdrawal period, any refund will, where applicable, be reduced by the proportionate part of the service already provided. The right of withdrawal may not be limited except in cases provided for by applicable law.
Amendments to this Policy
Udruženje grnčara Bardak may amend or supplement this Policy. All amendments will be published on the official website and displayed in the Studio at least 14 days before they take effect.
For vouchers already paid for, if the purchaser does not accept the new terms, the version of this Policy in force at the time of payment applies.
The new version of this Policy applies to vouchers paid for after it takes effect.
This version of the Policy takes effect on 1 August 2026.
