Session attendance policy

When using prepaid sessions, please pay particular attention to the following rules. Before paying for and reserving a session, please check whether it fits your available time, planned travel and similar commitments. By paying for a session or a package, you are deemed to have read and accepted this policy in full.

This policy applies to courses, individual sessions, packages and independent work provided by the Bardak Potters’ Association (Udruženje grnčara Bardak). “Studio keramike Bardak” is a brand name, not a separate legal entity.

The Sales and Complaints Terms and the Privacy Policy also apply to payments, cancellations, refunds, withdrawal, complaints and personal data protection. The Studio Code of Conduct applies to safety and conduct in the premises.

Educational programmes may be attended as individually scheduled sessions or as packages, which offer a more favourable price but are subject to the following rules:

Use of prepaid sessions

  • A prepaid Standard Course or Independent Work package is used continuously in the selected weekly session. The Mini Course is an exception: this applies to its first three sessions, while the fourth session is scheduled separately.
  • A four-session package is attended once a week, while an eight-session package is attended twice a week with the same group, and must be used within 28 days.
  • Your place is reserved only for the session you selected. A change of session is possible only by prior arrangement.
  • You may arrive at or leave a session at any time, but the session will still be counted as used in full.

Skipping a scheduled session

  • In a four-session package, you are entitled to one skip; in an eight-session package, you are entitled to two skips.
  • A skip means postponing a session to the next session without losing it.
  • A skip is possible if you notify us no later than three hours before the session begins, or no later than one hour before a morning session starting at 10:00. A later notice, as well as notice given after the session has started, does not count as a notified skip and the session will be counted as used.
  • An unannounced absence is counted as a used session even if you still have an unused skip remaining in the package.

Making up a scheduled session

  • A make-up session means using a missed session in another available session before your next regular session. The number of make-up sessions is not limited.
  • You may arrange a make-up session at any time before the session being made up, or within six days after it, and no later than the day before your next regular session.
  • A make-up session is possible only if there is an available place in another group and if it is arranged no later than three hours before the session being made up, or no later than one hour before it if that session starts at 10:00.
  • We recommend contacting us about a make-up session as early as possible. Make-up sessions depend on available places in other groups; if no place is available, a make-up session is not possible and the missed session is counted as used.

Arranging a skip or make-up session

  • To arrange a skip or make-up session, you may contact us by phone call, SMS, Viber or WhatsApp at +381637172484, by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or by message on Facebook or Instagram.
  • You must contact us no later than three hours before the session begins, or no later than one hour before a session starting at 10:00. Later contact is not valid and the session is counted as used.
  • The time when a message or email is sent is considered the time of the request, regardless of when the Association replies, provided that the request was sent within the prescribed deadline. A skip requires an unused skip, while a make-up session requires an available place within the requested timeframe.
  • When all permitted skips have already been used and there is an available place within the requested timeframe, the Association will offer a make-up session. If this is not possible, the session is counted as used.
  • A skip or make-up session may be arranged only through the channels listed above. An arrangement with an instructor during a session does not count as an arrangement.

Freezing a package and exceptional circumstances

  • Packages are purchased at a discounted price compared with individual sessions, provided that they are used within 28 days. If you freeze a package, it is recalculated at the individual-session price and one session is deducted from the total number of sessions. The remaining sessions may be used within 60 days.
  • A one-week break between two packages counts as a used skip in the new package. This rule does not apply where the break is caused by a public holiday, cancellation or rescheduling of a session by the Association.
  • For a break longer than one week, your place in the selected session is not held. If you know your return date in advance, you may let us know; we will check whether it is possible to secure a place in the same session, but we cannot guarantee it. Upon return, a new reservation must be made, subject to availability.
  • In the event of unforeseen personal circumstances, such as bereavement, health reasons or unexpected travel, you may use a skip, make-up session or package freeze in accordance with this policy. Other arrangements and extensions are not approved, except where required by applicable regulations or the Sales and Complaints Terms.

Holidays and postponements

  • The Association does not hold sessions on public and religious holidays that are official non-working days in the Republic of Serbia. Those sessions are automatically moved to the next session. We notify participants about days when sessions are not held at least seven days in advance through the Viber channel and during sessions.
  • Religious holidays and holidays of national minorities that are not official non-working days in the Republic of Serbia do not change the session schedule. For such days, as well as personal and family commitments such as a family patron saint day, family celebration, anniversary or travel, you may use a skip or make-up session in accordance with this policy.
  • In the event of health, technical or other justified circumstances on the Association’s side, the Association may move a session to the next session.
  • If the Association cancels an agreed session, the participant may choose a replacement session or a refund for the unused part of the package.

Policy amendments

  • The Bardak Potters’ Association may amend or supplement this policy. All amendments will be published on the official website and displayed at the Studio at least 14 days before they take effect.
  • For already paid active packages, if a participant does not accept the new terms, the remaining prepaid sessions will be used under the version of this policy that was in force at the time of payment.
  • The new version of this policy applies to packages and individual sessions paid for after it takes effect.
  • This version of the policy takes effect on 1 August 2026.
